The CRM Custom Object Sync allows you to sync the custom object created on the CRM (for Salesforce users) to the LeadAngel app to match the leads attributes with the custom object attribute, and based on that the leads could be routed.
Leads will be matched to the Account ID in the Custom Object, then it will get assigned to the owner of the custom object based on the matched lead or account attribute and the custom object’s attribute value.
Routing Scenarios:
- Multiple Custom Objects Found:
- The lead will be assigned to the active owner of the most recently modified custom object.
- No Custom Object Found:
- The lead will be assigned according to the default routing rule.
- Invalid or Empty Owner in Custom Object:
- If the custom object’s owner is:
- Invalid,
- Empty, or
- Not an 18-character User ID,
then the lead will be routed using the default routing rule.
- If the custom object’s owner is:
- Default Routing Fallback:
- If the lead cannot be routed using the default rule, it will be assigned to the default owner.
