An “event template” is a predefined template with the structural and informational framework for an event like event name, location, etc. The event templates are very similar to the events being created and can be used by other users, ensuring a cohesive and well-managed experience for the users.
*** Only an admin user can create the event template. The approved template would be visible to all the new calendar users. The existing users without calendar licenses must be given calendar access to use those event templates if needed.
Steps to create an event template:
- Sign in at app.leadangel.com and select Calendar Integration.
- Go to Event Templates, right-click, and click the +New Event Template.
Give the template a name and description.
- Select the option to automatically publish that event for all the new calendar integrations if needed. This will allow other calendar users to use this same template. Admin must create and approve the templates before it starts appearing as an option for other users to choose from.
- Click on the Save button.
- After saving the event template follow the steps to create an event.
- Approve the new event template.
- Click on the detail tab.
Admin users can uncheck the option to "automatically publish this event for all the new calendar integrations" whenever they want.
Steps to use an event template:
- Go to the Events and click on the +New Event.
- In the Create New Event page, you will see the Event templates in the Canvas along with the Create One-on-One meeting type.
- Click on the Copy button to copy that event template, after clicking it you can edit the template if you want.
- You can go to the booking page directly or copy the link.
- Click on the Save and Close button and the template will be visible on the Event page.
