A checkbox labelled "Incorrect LeadAngel Matched Account" may be included in the lead layout on the salesforce website. The purpose of this check box is to let LeadAngel know that the suggested match is inaccurate.
If this option is checked, LeadAngel will add the suggested account and company mapping to the "Never Match" list at the backend.
LeadAngel will add a new entry to the "Manual Match" list if you provide a new company name in the "LeadAngel Matched Account Name" field.
The "Never Match" and "Manual Match" lists are updated to reflect these additional items in order to be consistent with any future lead-to-account matches.
If necessary, you can manually push the current records for a rematch.
Below are some examples of typical use cases:
User checks the “Inaccurate match” box but does not change the matched account name
The lead is sent for a rematch after an old lead-account match is checked as an incorrect match. Irrespective of how the rematch turns out, the "Inaccurate match" checkbox will be unchecked.
User checks the “Inaccurate match” box and also updates the previously matched account name with a new name
The newly updated account is designated as the new match, and the old lead-account match is labelled as an incorrect match. Future entries will make advantage of the upgraded account. The checkbox labelled "Inaccurate Match" will be cleared.
User checks the “Inaccurate match” box and empties the matched account name
The lead is sent for a rematch after an old lead-account match is flagged as an improper match. Leads will not be re-matched to the previous matched account. The “Inaccurate match” checkbox will be unchecked irrespective of the rematch outcome.
User does not check the “Inaccurate match” box but updates the matched account name with a new name
If the updated lead-account match is set as a manual match fix then the process gets updated within 24 hours.
User does not check the “Inaccurate match” box but empties the matched account name
Lead is sent for a rematch. It may be re-matched with the previously matched account if no better match is found this time. (No changes)
“Manual Match” list is updated once a day for leads where “Incorrect Match” flag is not set, but the matched account is updated. If the “Incorrect Match” flag is set, then “Manual Match” list is updated usually in 20-30 min.
